Shane,
I would presume a 3.5" IDE drive would work in an A1200…but I
also understand it would have to be externally mounted because there's not
enough room for a 3.5" drive inside.
However, I do not know for sure that it will work as I've not tried
it nor have I heard of anyone else doing it.
