Andrew – I think you are wrong – the potential is there for Amiga to make a
huge comeback. From what I understand of this new EMPLANT card, the Amiga could
be marketed with full IBM 486 AND Mac compatibility, and run most Mac apps
faster than the Macs themselves. People may not understand the Amiga, but this
angle alone is simple economics most WILL understand – Why buy one computer
when you can have two? As an added bonus, it happens that this is on an Amiga
platform. As long the average PC or Mac user can access the programs they are
familiar with without a problem, AND run some of them faster, why wouldn't
Amiga be a success? Your 3 reasons are the right requirements for most
purchases, but a little word of mouth advertising about Amiga's compatibility
would make these GOOD reasons to buy an Amiga – especially if you DO normally
use a PC and a customer hands you work on a MAC-formatted floppy…
