#VESA modes – PC
I'm trying to get VESA modes working on Imagine 3.0. Just got it the other day,
and I'm impressed with goodies galore, but I can't seem to get 640x480x256 or
higher on my display. How do you properly set the high color words in the
preferences editor? And do you need to load a TSR to get VESA modes going at
all? If so, I need to track one down for my office's Cirrus Logic 5426 VGA. I
tried
it at home on a Diamond Speedstar Pro just to see how it worked, and once I put
the TSR in memory, Imagine gave me 640×480, 800×600, and 1024×768 all at
8 bit color. Still couldn't get high or true color going, though. Suggestions?
