Howdy folks, I'll just be a buttinsky and jump in here for a tick. I use both Windows (486dx/2-66) and a PowerMac 7100. Until Insignia gets off its <XXX> and gets its windows emulator beyond 286 capability emulation, I will continue to use two machines. I looked at the Amiga 4000. Frankly, I was impressed – more than with OS/2, NT or a MAC. However, I have a few friends who got burned on the Amiga 1000 when it was unceremoniously dropped by Commodore. So I was a little concerned. When I looked at WordPerfect (so I could communicate outside the club), I discovered that it was an OLD version. Getting software, at least here in the Norfolk, VA area, was going to be confined to going to a couple of hole-in-the-wall specialty shoppes. Sooooo, I got the PowerMac. Again, the Amiga was the neatest machine. I love the idea of all the coprocessors to speed things up (they do an incredible job!) I just didn't see much happening with it. Sorry fellas…. GREAT machine – LOUSY, LOUSY marketing. John
