You said it, Steve. It's rather sad that the PC and Mac magazines have
written off any hardware that's more than about a year old. You got a 286?
You won't read anything about it in PC magazine, or even PC Novice, for
that matter. Heck, the whole idea in that market is that if you don't at
least have a 486 you're a loser and deserve your fate. It's the American
(marketers') dream of keeping up with the Joneses.
