Sure, magazine editors can't want to get their hands on regular columnists who can depress the readers each and every month. Despair was not the job description of the Bandito. If it's any consolation, for the few months that I played that role, there were plenty of behind the scenes stories that curdled my stomach that didn' t make it into print.
