John, Come on …. Jim Drew has made some rather (seemingly) outlandish statements in the past, but, from what _I_ remember, he's been proved right on all of them (well, Sybil is an exception). After years of ReadySoft saying Mac emulation couldn't be done as an Amiga task, Jim said it could and then did it. Jim made some outrageous claims for the '060 a few weeks ago … he was soundly ridiculed. When Moto publically released their announcement, he was proved correct again. He claims to have 486 emulation for the Emplant on June 1st. I'm convinced it'll happen. Do I believe he will be successful in gaining control of the Amiga? No (I think it's too late, the deals were cut before the "voluntary liquidation"). Do I wish him well and support, in any way I can, his desire and commitment to attempt this effort? Wholeheartedly. I supported the CSM, altho I gave them no chance in h*ll to succeed. Why? Because it very important to try, to state your goals, and then do everything in your power to accomplish them. Whining and complaining, anyone can do that, as has been demonstrated in many recent threads. -sja
