You have missed my point, when I say that they have wasted money and are soon to get sick of it I mean the high prices. When the first ibm came out one thousand and something dollars was cheap likewise for the 386, 486 and so on. They all cost alot when they first came out. How do you think it makes the people feel when they shell out all that money for a system to find out later it is worth maybe 1/4 of what they paid for it. Then the cycle goes on from 386, 486 so on. people will get sick of it and say" wait a minute I'm not paying all that money to get this new system when I've already spent how much on that older system, to hell with it I'll work with what I've got" especially the homemarket. My A1200 plays all my old software so I don't know what you're talking about with the other thing you said. These people who are sick of it will easily jump ship if there was an alternative. But if there is only one platform that's what you have to put up with, that is why it's not good for one system to prevail.
