"Convincing Adobe and Aldus to port their software is quite simple… you port it for them at NO cost to them. I have several hundred GOOD programmers at my disposal to use for this task." Can you provide a single example of a major software developer permitting this? surely if it's as simple as you say, there should be numerous examples. "Would you turn down an offer to have your entire product line ported to the MAC or IBM at no cost to you? I am sure that Adobe, Aldus, Quark, and other companies would be happy to simply package up existing manuals and sell to a completley virgin platform… especially when people see the performance difference gained by the Amiga's superior architecture." Yes. There are many other issues involved that practically guaranty a negative response. Your implication that the folks at Adobe, Aldus and Quark are simply unaware of the Amiga is condescending and chauvinistic in the extreme. Do you seriously think these people are so stupid that they haven't looked at – and conciously ignored – the Amiga market? As it happens, getting through to the people at the three companies you mention is easy enough. Why not do it today and post the results here? Think of how much easier it's going to make things for you to already have secured committments from Aldus, Adobe and Quark. Strikes me that if it's as simple a process as you describe that you would have been on the phone already making these deals seeing as how you think these people at Adobe, Aldus and Quark – all of whom have built successful companies – are too dumb to have thought of it themselves.
