You're right that cutsey sells. I guess that's why it JUST WON'T GO AWAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!! (horrible, screaming in b.g. <g>). Yeah, Pixar's scene integration and renderers in the "tarzan" and "robin hood" listerine spots are pretty incredible. Beautiful work. But I think the degree of control in the keyframing is the most impressive for me. Character animation like that is such a "touchy, feely" kind of thing, less quantitative than modeling and texturing the jungle, and that appeals to me, somehow. But then I'm probably less of a modeler than animator, when it comes down to true interests and skill. I encourage you to get a look at PDI's Japanese Coke ads, if you can. I'm not sure where you'd be able to see them, but I have a feeling they'll show up at Siggraph, somehow. John Tissavary (LUNA cie)
