Yes I knew that Acorn became part of Olivetti but wasn't sure if that was
before or after the Archimedes was developed. I remember first seeing one of
these machines in Sydney in about 1986-7.
I had also thought that Olivetti had been struggling over the last few years
and would be unlikely to be propping up Acorn.
