Getting a message a problems with normal arrays (like that one) is a sure sign that your copy of 3ds.exe has somehow become corrupted. One way that can happen is if you've got a virus on your hard disk that's going around munging executable files. The first thing to do is scan for viruses, and then re-install 3ds from the master disks, making sure nothing touches it on the way onto your disk. If the problem persists after that, contact your dealer for a new set of master disks. – G
