Porting from Mac to PowerMac is a pretty simple task. Apple has sold a lot of
PowerPC computers in the last few weeks—companies that ported to PowerMac
early have probably already sold more copies in the last few weeks than Amiga
developers will sell this year.
Commodore may have sold 4-5 million Amiga's, but that's not how many are in
use. If you can sell 10000 copies of a major application in a year on the
Amiga, you've struck it rich. 10000 copies wouldn't interest many Mac or PC
firms. Most Amiga programs sell in the 1000 to 2000 range per year.
