Nancy…. The instructor's guides are really good to show the instructor's how to use the student books. Also so they do not have to start from scratch when developing some course outlines. How to use the books in short intensive courses and in longer semesterial courses. Can you tell I've done an instructor's guide lately? Writing books for the instructor may not sell a million copies to instructors but it will sure help the sales of the actual student book. It also helps to explain the reasoning behind developing courses in certain a manner, what's the logic. The better the publisher shows the instructors how the books should be used, the better they will be used. Sales go up (of books and 3D Studio). All around a good idea. It's just noce to see whan publishers are thinging on how their books will be used in instructional situations. Roger C.
