C= couldn't figure out how to be responsive enough to make money in the low-volume peripheral business. That's why they stopped doing peripherals and focused on what they could do — producing machines. They'd really have needed a completely seperate business unit to do it successfully. Plus a lot more engineers. They should have had the additional engineers anyway, though. — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing
