James, I made no explicit observations with regard to the shape or form of ET's or even mode of travel. I wouldn't make that assumption. I think however, as you're making a point of it, that as an evolutionary process, higher beings would have to have a respect for the natural order, I percieve it as a right of passage, in other words they would have self destructed if they couldn't have handled the mental/physical technology that made travel of that sort possible. As a result they would have to have a consciousness and a curiousity about other living beings. I think you're making an assumption that they are so advanced that they wouldn't find life on earth very interesting, and I strongly disagree. I can't concieve of higher beings not being interested in other life forms for a variety of reasons. If you get a chance, check out the series "People of the Forest" playing on A&E. I found it very thought provoking and rather astounding. It doesn't make the case we're debating either way, but it may have an impact on how you percieve this discussion. -JE
