>> With the current "terrestrials"…. who needs extra-terrestrials? <g> << No kidding! 🙂 Someone could make a good case that they've already landed and have taken human form. <g> I read Cosmos and got the impression that Carl Sagan was a big proponent for life on other planets. I have remained an open minded skeptic, if that's not a contradiction in terms. I spent a couple of years while in college researching UFO's and what struck me as most interesting is that so many people seem to have seen them but that there was no proof they existed. Some people claim that its a conspiracy of the government but after following the JFK assination over all these years, I've concluded the government could't keep a secret if it wanted to. Yes I'm sure they keep some secrets, but one's that nobody really cares about. Something as big as UFO's would be really hard. The library of Congress classifies UFO books as religious, which I find rather interesting. Another interesting fact is that in the Soviet Union when its citizens have claimed to have seen UFO's the Soviet government has claimed it was a capatilist plot to confuse its citizenry.<g> Which to me says they have no better an idea of what's going on than our government. Hmmm do you think maybe its a secret weapon of the Chinese? 🙂 -JE
