Why? Samsung is a $54B (as in billion) a year company, heavily involved in
the set top field, heavily involved with laser printers, has a joint venture
with HP, and a LOT more. They are the 18th largest company in the world.
I guess Hitachi is into consumer electronics too … they made my rice cooker.
