Aha…. now we're to the heart of it. The 24-bit and TRIM savers save the image in the buffer _as is_. They're NOT "renderers" and so do not rescale. Only renderers (things that reduce the number of colors) rescale on save, since they have to completely rebuild the image anyway. IM R/t's _many_ scaling operations are in the Process panel, under clipping. That's what you missed. Once you've scaled it, _then_ you save the image using IFF24. Here's what to do, exactly: 1 – Load the image 2 – Select the "Entire Image" tool 3 – Select "Process/Clipping/Stretch Clip" 4 – Select the desired output size 5 – Select DONE 6 – Select "Replace Primary" 7 – Select DONE & DONE again to get back to the main panel 8 – Select "File I/o" 9 – Select "Save Image File" (assuming you already have IFF24 save type) My guess on the Metascan thing is that your system doesn't have a valid path to the RX command (which is probably in a dir called RXCOMM in your WB partition). This is the typical result in that case. –Ben …via AutoPilot
