Jan, I'm in the East Bay. I too am glad I chose the Amiga route. I was pretty entrenched in the Mac thing but for some weird reason opted for an A3000 over a IIci about three years ago, haven't regretted it yet. I do wish that something of the muscle that has gone into putting Macs where they are now had gone into the Amiga. We'd be years ahead of where we are now. Really wasn't anything new. SuperMac was showing their new digital video editor. Appears fairly similar to DMI digital editor but costs about six grand more. As usual the Newtek booth was as popular as any there. IBM even had a booth. Seems like C= and some other Amiga vendors could have prospered. Wish I were a hardware type, I'd hack a 1200 into the Mac's video output to liven up those quicktime movies. Probably move a few Amigas in the backdoor that way. -Richard
