Hi Joe,
Your best bet is to have your SCSI BIOS enabled so that you will ensure
proper operation with Windows NT. Windows NT uses the SCSI BIOS to
determine the hard drive's geometry. It is this geometry that is
essentially the definition of the hard drive attached to the SCSI bus. If
you want to partition and format the drive outside of Windows NT, you may
boot your system with MS-DOS and use FDISK to partition your drive and
FORMAT to format it.
