I didn't said it wasn't possible. However, with Einstein or without him (remember that all this stuff is PURE theory), travelling at near the light speed will let you reach other galaxies (in suspended animation and all that stuff 🙂 but by the time you come back to earth you will find a hole. A civilization spread across the universe could be an extremely painful process, since the people who leave will know that they will never come back. You can jump from solar system to solar system, founding worlds but nobody will be able to go back (or communicate) with their origin to say: "hey, finally we found the guys who did the pyramids!" 🙂 I think that or we find a way to get Star Wars "hyperspace" to the real world or Earth aspirations for space expansion will be limited to Pluto, no matter how advanced we are in technology. Maybe the way is not technological but spiritual. I don't know and I don't care since the fact that I never will see a real USS Enterprise or one of those nice Calamari Cruisers is a pain in the neck! ana /krazy images
