It sounds like you are either not loading the proper VESA driver, or are gettng
some type of Memory conflict. In your 3DS message you said you selected ET4000
as your video board. Is this the type of VGA card you have? If not, what type
of card is it?
Also, try removing all your memory managers and TSR's. You mentioned an
Abnormal Program Termination. Usualy that is the result of a memory conflict.
Strip the system to it's vanilla configuration and see if the problem still
happens.
