This must be a bug in Commodore's Installer. It's not anything we have written The installer script is just like basic commands, and the Installer which comes from CBM is the actual program which would have bombed. I'm at a loss, because we haven't had any similar reports of this. ..005 is a divide by zero error. So it sounds like a basic problem in the installer. Sorry, I can't really help fix this. I've never heard of the installer crapping out before. But AE is easy to install by hand. Just create an Art Expression drawer on your system. Copy everything to it. (Merge all the AEfonts drawers into one drawer.) Copy the lib files (Arp.library (for 1.3 only) and IFF.library to libs. (IFF.library wasn't on the first 1.0 disks, but it's on the newer ones and will be on your update disk.)) That's all there is to install it. You can run the separate BME installer, and if that doesn't work, install it by hand. (It's a single file.) Has anybody else experienced problems with CBM's installer program?
