I have both Quicken & Wealthbuilder on the PC emulator that I have, and neither really fit the bill… For example, I don't want to account for every dollar that I have by having to tell the program that my brokerage account that my money came from my bank account (when it really came from somewhere else that I don't want to have to enter either!)… Also, I'd rather not have to enter my quotes manually each day, and would like to see the program be able to read in my data files (after I've downloaded my quotes from another software program). For example, Equis Pulse will permit you to read Metastock format files (which, of course isn't available for the AMiga, but that's another story…), as well as other formats. The more important things (to me) would be to have the ability to read in the current price, post percentage gains and/or losses for the day, the week, the year… by each equity or market and by total portfolio (or combined portfolios). Also, I like to see my target prices and stops (alerts on these would be nice also), as well as percentage weight that each equity or market makes in relation to my entire portfolio. Also, I'd like to see some sort of asset modeling capability, to enable the user to minimize the total risk of the portfolio, as well as to maximize gains from the portfolio. To me, managing my IRA is a very practical application. So far, on the Amiga, I've my option seems to be to design my own spreadsheet for this purpose. Crude, at best. – Dave
