You're right about NT – it won't work because of Pharlap. Yes, you can run a
full screen session under win3.1, but I don't know why you would want to.
It'll cause a performance hit on all but the beefiest systems.
I know there are several folks out there using 3DS under OS/2, but I don't know
how they did it. I'm sure somebody'll be happy to tell you how, though.
Realistic requirements:
486/66 or P5
16megs ram for multimedia, 32 minimum for video
1gig disk space, minimum
17" monitor, unless you want to hurt your eyes
graphics card able to do 24bit color at 800×600 min.
for video there are a ton of options, let me know if you have any specific
questions.
