>[Outsiders will see] a computer that they aren't familiar with Actually, that's a better point than you think it is: Did you notice how "the press" noted in their eulogies that Commodore was a "pioneer in the personal computer industry", but few of them even mentioned the Amiga computer specifically? Since Irv & Co. were in charge of the press release, you don't suppose that they avoided making a big deal about being the manufacturers of the Amiga in the specific hope that selling the Amiga technology to another party would NOT "hurt" Amiga sales, now DO you?… (Of course, I'm still a firm believer that the whole thing is just a "power-money" play by Irv And The Boys, so whadda _I_ know?…)
