One problem with disabling the "normal" 1084 interface is that you deprive the Toaster of one of its main data feeds from the Amiga. The Amiga can only communicate with the Toaster with the video port and the parallel port; there is no direct (Zorro) bus interface. NewTek puts lots of control information in the vertical interval of the monitor video. And, when you start one of the complex wipes, the entire monitor video bandwidth is used for control information. So, what's this mean for the guy who wants to run some good clean monitor video out to a high-quality monitor? I don't think anyone has figured out a solution just yet. Most are opting for good multi-sync monitors and cringing while working in LW3D. ___ /__) ,_ _ _ _/__) / /__/ /_ /_-'
