Betty, IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, the parallel port sydos/syquest drives are actually scsi drives that interface thru the parallel port, I looked long and hard at the 44 meg sydos drives a few years ago and again "if I remeber correctly" the connector on the drive mechanism in the case that conects to the logic board in the drive case is a 50 pin centronics (same as scsi) The 44 meg sydos cartridges could be read/write from a standard 44 meg syquest drive.
