Chris, I really don't know what its consumption is, but I do recall discussions about making it into a portable, and people from Commodore said that it would not be possible because of the power consumption of the chips. They said there would have to be some redesigning of the major chips before a battery-powered notebook or laptop could be made. Maybe something about needing CMOS chips? Did I get it right? —Betty
