A company called Service Management Group (SMG), which as near as I know is located "down the road" from Commodore's West Chester PA head- quarters, was not only Commodore's official authorized Warranty Repair company, but recently went on record as saying that they had more than enough parts to repair any Amigas in need of service "for the time being" (a statement supposedly similar to Creative Equipment Inc.'s "until this thing blows over"). I would try contacting them (I don't have their number off-hand, but if you call Commodore at West Chester, their voice- mail system will give you the number) and seeing if you can't get "in- warranty" repair from them.
