#SCSI Cables
I just don't know why there would be a 40-pin SCSI connector when 50-pin is the
absolute standard. 40-pin may be SCSI-compatible, but, by definition, it isn't
really SCSI – it is somebody's proprietary system which uses SCSI protocol but
not standard SCSI connections, etc. Why people do things that way absolutely
mystifies me. Standard is standard is standard. Non-standard is a pain in the
*** expletive deleted. Pretty soon you'll have me ranting on about those
despicable non-standard SIMMS some folks use on Amiga boards …. Standards
exist for universal compatibility. I like standards.
