Yes.. but I still need to control the 'any' vcr automatically… Needs some kind of control interface… Also I assume that the 500 meg disk gets full real fast. in its own special format. If you want to save your work can you download this to tape or flopticals(which is what I have).. If i understand PAR correctly (I could be wrong) First Imaging generates tons of 24_IFF files (takeing up alot of HD space) then a program converts them to PAR format (essentionally duplicating the stuff on IFF) You then can play 2-minutes of anims worth (alot of frames, given) and then you have to load up the next 2-minutes worth and control the vcr to save the next 2-minutes.. This still doesn't include syncing sound (plain ol 8-bit IFFs)… So I realize that PAR is cleaner video, but isn't some SF VCR a cleaner interface.. You have all the necessary controls to step the video automatically and a program that is given a list of IFF files… oops Sound is worse in this senerio' cause you have to do it later.. (ie the ol linear track).. the best beet would be to buy them both, but if you can only get one, which one would you get.. a good vcr OR par? Seperate subject.. Can I generate anim-5s directly from IMrt?? (using DCTV) (I am not a touch typer… 'best beet' indeed!) -Tom-
