#CD-ROM Caddies

I can't help but worry about our entire society when I see so many
people feeding themselves a constant diet of canned music. One can easily
compare it with drugs, IMO. Just as some hide from reality via drugs,
others hide from at least a portion of reality via a constant piping of
music to their audio receptiacles. Even when such people travel to the
beach, mountain, forest, parks, etcetera in order to enjoy nature they
buffer that experience via covering up its sounds via music headphones or
boom boxes.
Just a sad observation, —GeM
