You missed the point about PAR's DDR: device. When PAR is running in the
background, it creates a logical drive that you can render directly to.
_No_ intermediate IFF file is required.
The PAR would solve your problem by allowing you compile all of your video
segments into one contiguous video. For audio, you could use the GPI
trigger input, or you could probably control both audio & PAR from an
ARexx script.
