Vance, The nice thing about the Retina, as I understand it, is that the ram is user upgradable. As for IM R/t just upgraded to 2 Megs Chip and now I am finally able to load hires 16 colour pictures and actually save them! 8^) Thanks for the info about GigaMem. I think that is the route I'll have to take, for the time being. Of course I have to also get a bigger HDD…I remember the days when my amiga chugged along quite happily with 1 meg and a single floppy, a the (not so) good old days. 8^) BTW, I bit the bullet and ordered OpalVision today. I expect I'll have it by the weekend. Thanks for your advise (even if I didn't follow it). Andrew
