Don't ever apologize for butting-in! Butt-in all you want, we need your
insights too.
You brought up some valid points, not the least of which is "use what
you're comfortable with." I like to use a mix of techniques where I
create some parts in ACAD and others in 3DS. Of course working in
multiple programs can cause other problems; I keep pressing "R" to
REDRAW in 3D Studio, and try to rotate my view with the arrow keys in
AutoCAD. Sheesh!
