After reading the other comments on this tread, I still think that for
Arch. purposes, ACad is the place to model. I also think that
Autovision is not there (here) yet, to slow and clumsy. However,
there is a great package for converting plans into 3D models very
quickly which *_do_* translate into 3DS without any problems (flipped
normals). This software is Facade by Eclipse Software (206/676-0921)
for more info. I looks like a great product. I have not tried it
yet but will soon.
