My problem regards the proper execution of the Animator Pro utility called FLITAPE. From all that I can figure, my hardware/software configuration is correcty set for Flitape execution. Description as follows: 1. Sanyo GVR-S950 (single frame animation video tape recorder) and the appropriate interface controller driver, VTRSAN.exp as well as the necessary connection cables. 2. Stealth 24 VGA card + appropriate drivers. 3. Complete Animator Pro 1.3 software kit. 4. VGA to NTSC converter (Willow Laptop TV) + drivers. According to documetation instructions, I set my autoexec.bat file to include the lines: 1. Set VTPADI=C:\Sanyo\Autodesk\VTRSAN.exp (this sets the VCR driver). 2. Set RDPADI=C:\Stl\Adi\RCTURBOD.exp (this sets the display driver). RCPADI is actually for 3D Studio but I assume that it is the correct driver to use Flitape with my Steath VGA. I have not been able to find a specific driver for Flitape to run on a Stealth 24 VGA. I can get Flitape will run but the image on my computer monitor and TV monitor are dim. Also Flitape always freezes up after about 10 frames into the recording process. Does Flitape require a Targa board for proper execution. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome.
