Roger: That's exactly what I'm doing with NIC. To program the interactivity or so called "authoring" I have developed a visual authoring tool. This allows you to define hotspots (VCR controls, etc.) and assign flics or events to each hotspot. At this time these are proprietary tools and are not commercialy available. However, I will consider licensing them to other developers on a case-by-case basis as long as there is no direct conflict of interest in publishing titles.
