Meridian has the latest version of Helm. I'm about to release a revision with
minor changes, but you can download the necessary patches when they are ready.
I'm averaging the release of one revision per month but usually they include a
handful of minor bug fixes and a few releatively small features which users
have requested. Thanks for letting the mail order company know about Helm.
By shape, I mean polygons like you find in Dpaint. Instead of actually painting
the screen when you release the mouse button, Helm counts the pixels under the
current polygon. It not only works for polygons but also for ellipses,
rectangles, freehand painting, and airbrushing.
That's right, double buffering needs an extra buffer for the transition.
Actually, it needs three buffers for a transition but if there is not enough
memory, Helm will draw the page without the transition.
