Copy protection?
Dongles don't work any better than any other method in use on the Amiga.
I bought my 2000 used from a guy in LA land. I nearly stopped the deal
because he wanted me to bring down XCAD and dongle so he could copy it.
Seems he knew a guy at Fairchild (could have been him, for that matter)
that could copy the dongle. Pissed me off because he was so
matter-of-fact about it. Like it was supposed to be part of the deal or
something. He got a short answer, I got a long apology.. I'm still using
the machine.
Besides.. his garage was durn near as big as my house! 🙂
