Dave, We at PreVue Technologies have worked out a "field mod" (OK, it's a hack) that will balance DV1 and DV2 to each other. It does require someone skilled in the electronic arts and it does mean you are modifying your Video Toaster. Basically, the mod calls for biasing DV2 levels up or down slightly to match DV1.
