#FAX MODEMS
I'm using a ZyXEL 14.4 fax/modem which I bought in January 1994 for US
$318. One thing I like about the ZyXEL is the ability to set up my A2000
as a voicemail/fax/data link using GPFax software along with AVM shareware
software. The shareware fee for AVM is only US $20, which is a real deal.
Version 1.19 is in the libraries here.
I believe the AVM software also works with the Linelink and Dolphin
14.4 fax/modems. I contacted Supra in January before buying my ZyXEL as I
hoped they would be supporting voicemail, but learned that they did not
have plans for that and had no plans for further development for the
Amiga. I was quite disappointed as I had always had good experiences with
Supra products for my 500 and 2000.
