Andrew, I use the IV24 primarily as a non-interlaced 24-bit RGB display board for image viewing, processing, and painting, althought I have called upon it for it's other capabilities more than a few times. I have grabbed images from my video tape and laserdisc collection, monitored CNN in a small picture window on my computer screen, used the same picture video window capability in a multimedia presentation (but this time I moved the window around the screen, changed its size, and even froze/released the live video image throughout the presentation — I don't do this when I'm monitoring CNN <G>), make and run IV24 unique Fyeanims (12-bit true 4096 colors not HAM6 animations — no artifacting!), and have even pumped most of these things out to an NTSC monitor. The IV24 has some other "video" related capabilities, but I'm not a vidoegrapher type guy so I haven't played around with them. Opps, sorry, I ramble… EdV
