Pat, First of all, thank you for your kind words about my book. I agree, AutoCAD is getting big and so are the support materials that go with it, including textbooks. At some point, author/publishers may want to split their books into separate volumes. >>Is a drafting board needed at all- at any level??<< No. At one time, many years ago, I felt that it was good to expose the student to manual drafting so that s/he would better appreciate the power of a CAD system. But is it really necessary, given the limited amount of time instructors have to teach the concepts that are REALLY important to them? I don't think so. Terry P.S. Who are Cadets and MMets?
