S >>How do I fade an object in and out of a scene like you do in V Post?<< There are cuple of ways to fade an object in and out. The easiest is to create a duplicate object of the object to be faded. This dublicate object should have a perfectly clear (with no shine) material assigned to it. Then in the Keyframer do a material morph from one object to the other (material morph is an option under Morph). This allows you to fade over as many or as few frames as you like. Another way to do this fade is to create an animation that fade from white to black or black to whiel over so many frames then use it as an opasity map for any particular material. In either case once an object is faded out or fully transparent, use a Hide key so 3DS dose not have to calculate it's transparency for every frame. Good luck Zac (AZ-TECH) Berkeley
