Yeah, it sucks, doesn't it? Well, when you start 3DS (and at various other
times) 3DS goes out and "looks" for each drive on your system — for instance,
if you have a removeable cartidge drive, like a Bernoulli, and there's no
cartridge in it when you start up 3DS, that drive won't be recognized, even if
you later mount a cartridge. So, 3DS is essentially doing a reset on your CD
that cancels out the music program's play instruction. Even shelling out to
re-start it won't work, as 3DS will just re-initialize the thing again.
AutoCAD uses a different method of finding valid drive names, so the music
plays on.
