"My 040 powered A2000 outpowers the Quadra." That's the kind of general statement that doesn't hold much water. There are numerous Quadra models, ranging from the 700 on. Many of the early models are pretty slow compared to the newer releases, particularly the 800 and 840. Then there's a question of what's being outpowered. There are few direct comparisons between Amiga and Mac applications, since there have been few cross-platform ports. So what are you comparing? I run Quadra 800's and 950's here and I seriously doubt that your Amiga 2000 is going to "outpower" either of those machines. But it's really a moot issue as far as I'm concerned: we're a Mac and Windows shop and that's about all there is to it. Jerry
