PMJI, but I'm using Project Gutenberg, no problem. It's an ISO-9660 format CD-ROM that'll work with a plain CD-ROM drive on an Amiga, or CDTV, or almost any player. So you opened the file window and didn't see Amiga icons, but the files are there. But if you open a Command Line Interface and type DIR you'll see them. Alternatively, load up your word processor or text viewer (I browse the Gutenberg selections using View80 2.0, because it lets me open ten texts at a time) and in the program's file requester and you'll see the disc listings. Or, even, if you're using Workbench 2.x or up, go up to the Workbench menu and in the Window pulldown select View By Name. You're right that there are no executables on that disc, and that's intentional. Project Gutenberg was specifically designed to work with as many computer platforms as possible. Therefore, the texts on it consist of plain ASCII files. The idea is to call up those texts in the software of your choice. You can use a hypertext engine to set up your own links, if you need that.
